Just a few comments. At the Downs i didn't see the two old 25 cent
10/7 DB games, guess their gone. They do have a couple of SpinPoker;
Big Split and MultiStrike games. What paytables i checked were
short, but i didn't look very closely since i don't play them. They
have some 99%+ games there, more than any other Casino in
Shreveport/Bossier. It is roomy and new, i enjoyed losing my money
there, as much i can losing anywhere! The High Limit area has 3
slant top $5 Multigames with 9/6 Jacks as well as other games. The
Diamond Lounge is as big as the old one at Sam's and you can bet on
a watch the races right there, which would be neat... if i bet the
ponies. I had in the past played a NSU $5 game before they opened
the New Casino, not sure if it is still available.
The Hollywood has pulled the 5 cent games behind where i would sit
and play 10 play SA and put in new VP machines, some have the 1-15
coin format. Some have a Seq. RF offering, but the Jacks i saw was
7/5, doubt that they have anything playable in them. Did not check
very deeply.
Sam's Town is in the process of changing out a bunch of slot
machines, will they improve their VP paytables??
I was playing in a VP tournament and placed at the $50 level,
however after dropping $4000 it wasn't what i was hoping for?
The Boomtown seemed the same!
The Isle of Capri.... didn't make it there, didn't see the reason
since they don't offer anything, or very little anyway!

Harrahs 10/7 DB games are indeed gone but not forgotten. The same can be said for ALL the quarter full pay games except for .25 PE. The multiline nickel NSUD are also DOA. 9/6 JOB, 8/5 BP and NSUD remain at the single play dollar level.

The Shreveport Horseshoe deal was completed on July 1 and that property is now owned by Harrahs. The name is not expected to change at this time but it is now a 100% owned Harrahs property.

Boomtown does still have the 3/5 mulitline quarter 9/6 JOB and NSUD. .25 PE remains.

Sam's Town has .25 PE at this time along with the same unplayable inventory inherited from Harrahs.

I haven't been at the Isle of Capri since the first Bush was president.
