Last Tango in Tunica

Just returned from a 3 day junket to Harrahs Tunica.

The casino is slated to shut down on 6/2. For those of you who have never been to Tunica, Harrahs is a hugh property, with a very large casino, 3 hotels, 3 swimming pools, a golf course, a shooting range, a convention center, a RV park, and a kids zone. All located on a hugh piece of real estate.

We got a large suite, in the Casino Tower hotel. The casino was not crowded. They had a 10X RC promotion going while I was there. There are four Game Kings left with 9/6 JOB and WHA.

I hit one $2000 royal, so came home happy. This is probably my last trip to Tunica, as there is nothing much left to go there for.

I’ve been to Harrah’s Tunica three times - all in the past two years and all via free (comped) charter. Pretty good vp and good buffet. I’ll miss it and the large fish in its canal (or is it a moat?!

We have also been several times via comped charters from Baltimore, for some reason they stopped offering those incentives. My wife and I both enjoyed the stay and casino.
