I was at MS today and the remaining 2 $10 PE machines
in the new casino have been downgraded. 50 straight and 20 3OAK.
25c FP PE was still going strong in the old poker room.
I played 9/6 $1 JOB at the Wolf Den bar and the Sky casino
bar. 25c JOB on those machines is 8/5. I noticed that
the comp rate was 1 point for $90 coin-in. I thought it might
be lower since it's a 25c machine also. But it is higher.
I was sitting next to a guy using the double up feature playing
Bonus Poker. Is this available with the JOB? Does it affect
the amount of comp points?

When full-pay $1 JOB was in the old poker room, they all had the
double-up feature; for a while, they were the only ones. It did not
give you more comp points; that would be unusual. Since all the VP
machines have been taken down for service, you'll have to check them
with a winning hand to see if the double up button comes on.
Generally, if you check one in a row, the rest in that row will be
the same. Anomalies can happen, but they're probably just
technicians misreading the work order. For 2-3 weeks in January,
there was a single full-pay quarter JOB, and a single full-pay $1 JOB
that paid 800 for a royal with one coin -- until they
were "corrected." And for several months right before the the old
poker room, the center $1 JOB to the right of the wolf den was the
only double up machine in the building.
Q.) Did they up the comp rate to 1/90 for the full-pay quarter PE's?
