Las Vegas Updates - Rampart, South Point and Tuscany

Rampart - Now has a bonus for new sign-ups to the
players' club. Per the Newsletter, for every 100
points earned that day, new members will receive $5 in
cash. Maximum is $100 for 2000 points earned. ($4
coin-in earns one point on video poker.)

South Point - The gas card promotion is now limited to
20 cards per person for the promotion period. (Redeem
4,167 points and get a $25 Chevron gas card instead of
$12.50 in cash. Your point balance earned before
December qualifies as well as points earned in
December.)

South Point - They now have six SpinPoker Deluxes with
25c 9/6 JoB near the garage entrance.

Tuscany - Just announced 5x points 24 hours a day
Sunday through Thursday 12/10 - 12/25.

I was as the Tuscany a few days ago, and they have removed the
relatively high-paying Double Down Stud machines that I wrote about
approx a year ago. At that time I also checked out the DDS machines at
the Orleans, and found they were set to much lower payouts. I didn't
make it back to the Orleans this time.

I didn't see any kind of full-pay VP at the Tuscany, except for some
Deuces Wild. They used to have a lot of 25c 10/7 DB or something.

I won't make it back to the Tuscany next time, either (although their
coffee shop is an excellent place to grab a delicious, inexpensive
quick meal). So don't go there unless you're hungry, or want to play
Deuces.
