I would agree. I looked around a little but was told by my friends to stay
in the west end of town. I live in Desert Shores, near Summerlin and love it.

Agreed--I live in the houses immediately east of the Lowes at Buffalo
and Washington. I know that Desert Shores is nearby. Nice area.
An aside--my almost 2 year old NV driver's license doesn't have a
Social Security number on it, either.
