Just how DO the cab drivers in LV feel about the monorail? Have any of the cab companies made statements to the media? Did they lobby against it at city council or planning commission meetings?

The cabbies couldn't have lobbied against the Monorail at City Council
meetings because the Monorail isn't in the City.

Besides, the monorail is run by a quasi-private company.
Furthermore, cabbies aren't exactly a beloved species in LV, and any
effort to make their annoyance of the general public less so is
widely considered to be a good thing. But it won't make a HUGE dent
in their trade until the monorail is extended to the airport. (Of
course, anyone who's been to LV more than twice usually takes a
shuttle van anyway, unless their casino sends a limo for them.)
