recommendation? Also, I am still somewhat confused on the comp
ratings. If you go in on a marketing offer, do you still go in rated
C2, C3 etc. and if so, does that mean you are predetermined RFB or
do you still have to play this trip to earn it? I will probably play
$50,000 over a 3 nite stay, so what "C" is that? Thanks for any
advice.

All of the towers have recently been remodelled, so I wouldn't have a
specific recommendation. You'll likely be satisfied with what you
receive. (A high floor room always presents a better view ... I
prefer the golf course; others like looking toward the strip).
I advise against using one of their hotel marketing offers (typically
a discounted room rate plus some type of food and beverage credit,
plus sometimes show tickets and/or free coin). It can be cumbersome
for a host to comp any cost of that package based upon your play.
Your best bet is to contact one of the two hosts recommended in the
LVH database entry on this vpFREE website:

Provide a fair estimate of your play (it helps to note where else
you're a rated player) and they'll likely arrange a room comp up front.
At minimum, you'll earn comp kiosk credit toward room and beverage
charges that you can tap at the end of your stay. But charge meals to
your room rather than use kiosk vouchers because it's likely that a
host will comp your food and beverage (coffee shop at least) in full
after reviewing your play at the end of your stay.
The play that you describe would generally rate C4 (coffee shop plus
the fast food outlets - excluding the sports book sub shop), assuming
that it's split over the course of 4 gaming days (6a-6a).

was rated C3. All my room and meal charges were picked up. Had to
pay for my spa services. Note: at this level, you're comp dollars
accrue at about have the rate as a non rated player (about .2% from
my math). Of course, this was before Colony/Resorts took over.

been there for a while. I want to stay there in Sept. I am thinking
of reserving rooms now. However, I sort of want to wait for Sept or
oct offers. My problem is I will be getting close to the 13 month cut
off for comps in LVH data base.

It is interesting that Andiamo's requires a C-2 since I find that
restaurant to be less expensive than Benihana's. For what it is
worth, I also think Andiamo's and Benihana's are the best restaurants
in the Hilton.
I only get C-ya. In other word's, I gotta pay for the room.
