Las Vegas Hilton - COW

From: "iq758" <iq758@peoplepc.com>
Discretionary comp experiences: They comped almost $100 of food in 2

days play (about 12 hours of play total for 2 people on 90% FPVP 10%
slots)

Was this level of play about 6 hours a day for both of you - six hours for
you and six hours for your partner - repeated the next day?

I had a similar amount of play recently and when I asked at the booth I was
told to charge to the room - which I didn't bother with. To give you a
better idea of our play level we received $60 cashback. Enough to have
asked for a host?

Did you use a host for these comps? Were they issued upfront?

Thanks!

$60 cashback=600 points x 18.18 (if all vp) = 10,908. How many days
was that over? You probably could have gotten your room free if was
1 or 2 night stay. You definitely should have been able to get
casual dining (buffet, pizza hut, etc...not room service or benihana)
if not the room for that level of play. You should always charge
everything to the room and then go to host right before checkout. I
like to go a few hours before checkout and talk to a host and get
what i can. Then go back and talk to diff host right before
checkout, as you'll have played some more since last comp and you
have a diff person who may be nicer with comps.

It was an average of 3 hours per person per day on a joint account.
I am not sure on our cashback because we played at ballys and paris
and then cashed out (I think it was about $60) I also think that the
comps were earned at a higher rate back in Oct., because I remembered
the VPFREE database saying the comps were 1.11%, now its
reading .33%. Regardless of the points that I earn, I always ask to
talk to a host at the casino I'm staying at. The worst they can say
is that they can not do anything for you. -Russ

Well said. Case in point: I will be going to Vegas in July staying at Rio. I
have limo service, either an 1100 or 1600 sq. ft. suite, and a bottle of
good scotch waiting in the room. All meals will be comped. April: Harrahs
Shreveport, four nights in Magnolia suite, all meals comped. Just heard from
host that he is getting me two of the nice terry cloth robes. They are
running a giveaway that is before I get there. May: two nights in suite at
Harrahs New Orleans for wife and girlfriend, her's not mine. I have NEVER
been there. Like Russ says T A L K. And as Jean says A S K

                Fred in Austin

ps: I am NOT a high roller. Shreveport= .25 pick'm, Rio= .25 and $ 8/5
bonus. Put in the hours and A S K
