Las Vegas Advisor, just my thoughts

I was a subscriber from August 2001 to August 2002. It really opened
some doors for me, including pointing me to VPfree. LVA online
discussion has only been going for less than three years. They have
expanded free info. immensely on the web site: links, reviews,
weekly updates.

But it is a payed subscription for the monthly newletter, discussion
boards and the valuable yearly coupon book. Everytime Anthony Curtis
or LVA was mentioned on a Travel Channel rerun, the site clogged up.
Yes, they say the problems are local and are working on them.
Apparently it is still a problem.

Also, I could not get anyone's attention about certain website
features. The Map featured did not include the Palms, GVR, new
highways and other additions. The casino listings/links for
Neveda/United States did not include Laughlin, until just recently.

LVA is a useful free site and the coupon book will pay for the
subscription if you are a couple(2 for 1 city!) and don't have
offers/comps waiting for you in Vegas. MY main Nevada casino
destination is Laughlin, I can get updated info here on VPfree and a
couple other sites. I think I will wait to see if the web access
problems finally are solved before re-upping.
