The Lakeside Inn in Tahoe posts the Lightening strikes on their web
page. The last was 3/14. Don't know how often they update, but the
$10,000 strike point should be 4/13. From an analysis of their
postings, it appears they add 25c per hour to the pot. It always
strikes within 29 days. It appears to be independent of the day of
week, month of year or amount of play. Since there are only 200 or so
machines, you have a good chance for the $10k. If it strikes someone
else, you still get $25. I have not been there when it was close, but
I imagine the locals fill the casino. Still, if you are in the area, it
might be worthwhile to stop by. If you can not get on the 50c JOB,
they have 1c machines that accept your card. good luck.
