Lake Tahoe
Little off subject but does anyone have any good info on Lake Tahoe.
It's very big. It has lots of water. The "natural rim" of the lake is 6223
feet above sea level. That is the lowest level at which water will continue
to spill over the dam at Tahoe City and into the Truckee River, the only
outlet of the lake. Up to one-tenth inch of water, or 330 million gallons,
can evaporate from the lake on a summer day. Remarkably, each half-foot of
lake level represents over 20 billion gallons of water, enough to supply 105
million people with their average daily needs! The average level of the lake
is 6225 feet above sea level. The highest recorded level was 6,231.26 feet
on July 14 -18, 1907. The lowest level ever recorded was 6220.26 feet on
November 30, 1992. The maximum level now allowed by law is 6229.1 feet. Data
courtesy of the Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey. If this
is not the information that you are looking for, you may want to expound on
the parameters of your question. AFAIK, there is no surcharge for extra
words used in posts on vpFREE.

Another factoid about Lake Tahoe. Mark Twain accidentally caused a
huge forest fire around L. Tahoe. He describes this event in Chapter
23 of his book "Roughing It". Twain accompanied his brother to Nevada
around 1861 because his brother was appointed Secretary of Nevada by
Abraham Lincoln. One day Mark and a friend hiked up to Lake Tahoe to
camp. One evening Mark lit a fire on the beach and within
minutes it got out of control. In a quote: "It was wonderful to see
with what fierce speed the tall sheet of flame traveled!" And "By
eleven o'clock the conflagration had traveled beyond our range of
vision...". It sounds like he caused the destruction of huge forested
areas from the lakes edge to the tallest peaks above the lake. I'm a
bit surprised he admitted doing this.

Not sure what you're looking for, but I can tell you the database appears to be correct for Bill's, Harrah's and Harvey's. Don't know about the Ho, but they did have jacks and bonus in their bar by the sportsbook. Nothing playable at the Montbleu.
let me know if you have a specific question.......
