Planning a summer vacation in Lake Tahoe. Considering Harrah's or
Harvey's for rooms, since we have Harrah's Diamond status and enjoy
the perks while visiting new properties. Any comments on these
properties for rooms, video poker play, and other ammenties would be
appreciated. Thanks for your help.>>>
Rooms are nicer at Harrahs but prefer Harveys as parking garage is connected
to casino & it's convenient if you have to make a lot of trips to car..
Harveys is also on lake side of US 50 so has a better view of lake. With
connecting tunnel, it doesn't matter which side has better vp if you don't mind the
short walk. For same reason, restaurant location is not a factor, cafes on
both sides have same menu which but dining at other levels is different (buffet,
gourmet, nightclubs). For more than 2 people in a room, Harrahs is probably
the better choice as rooms are larger & I believe 2 bathrooms/room is
standard. At Harrahs, once stayed in rooms at the end of the hallway & there was
something special about it but can't remember what it was. Perhaps someone else
might comment.
For a longer stay, split your time between the two & decide for yourself
which is better & give us feedback.
