In summary, Lake Tahoe is beautiful and we will be back. I
have a couple of 5 night offers. I hope to receive similar offers
next summer. It is probably too late this year as the room offers
expire August 31st. Maybe I will go in the winter if I receive an
offer for that part of the year. Harrah's is next door to the
Heavenly Ski Resort. Are comped rooms more scarce in the winter?Thanks,

Thanks Bob for your insights as a first timer ( may I say in Hi-Roller mode)
to the offerings of HET Northern Nevada. I hope someday to visit up that way
myself. The observations about HET and Columbia-Sussex are welcomed.
C-S is not trying to be integrated...slot club wise, which I guess allows
them easy ways to sell-off properties. They poo-bah the opportunity to link
their varied properties. Is this good for us or not?
They are rebranding Ramada Express in Laughlin to Tropicana Express. One
theory (mine) is C-S did not have a choice...Trop was the default name, Ramada
Express means something different nowadays, to Ramada Corp. What will C-S do
with two distinct Laughlin properties across Casino Drive from each other?
