Need some advice regarding Video Poker in Lake Charles, LA. I live in
Houston and I am considering the 2 hour drive to Lake Charles to play
some Video Poker. What does the group think my best bets would be as
far as casinos and specific flavors of VP. I have played quite a bit
of 9/6 JOB, 10/7 DB, and FPDW in Vegas - and realize I am not going to
find the same VP situation in Louisianna - but what is the best I can
expect? Is it worth the drive? All comments and suggestions
appreciated.

I have not been to Isle of Capri since Hurricane Rita, so I am not
sure if the database is up to date there.
I too live in Houston, and I was at L'Abuerge as recently as June,
and I can verify the database as of then. btw, Got my first DEALT
royal. I was playing the $1 8/5/35 BP game (99.66%).
We call L'Auberge the "Red Rock of the South" - very nice hotel,
spa, and golf course with GREAT vp. Cashback at .002% and very easy
discretionary comps.
If you are interested in playing .25 games - not so good; but the
playable $1 and above games are in abundance.
