L V Hilton requirements & Park Place

On the face of it it sounds like $9000 dollars (assuming that is what 9000
coin in) means would get LRFB - Limited Room Food Board, and $18000 would get
that for video poker play since they require twice as much action for VP over
reels. I'm assuming that would be a daily average as well.

LRFB normally means food in coffee shop and buffet for 3 meals a day and
beverages (cocktails) at bars. Sometimes it also includes room service.

If you are confused you should ask the host to explain further. The best way
probably would be a face to face or phone conversation.

Players at LVHilton might be best to take advantage of any offers they get in
mail that might include some food and room (or shows) and then use comps they
accumulate for play to pay for other food.

Note although all the Park Place properties are supposedly connected, I've
had some comps "disappear" from the system from one place to another. I don't
know if the comps will show back up when I go back to place "A" or not (I
haven't been back).

I also noticed a lack of comps accumulating on a recent visit to Bally's and
was told that more comps actually were acruing in a comp account accessible
only to the host and to contact the host if i wanted additional comps. The host
told me to use up my accumulated comps first and then they could comp me
additionally.

I stayed at the Hilton last month on a freebie Slot Tournament that included 3 days accommodations.
We played about 8k per day average on vp and charged about $120 worth of buffets to our room.
The tab at the end of the trip was $10, which I paid for using comp dollars.
I was impressed that their system automatically comped the majority of our room charges without docking my comp account.

A.P.

Based upon the LVH comp rating you're brought in on (based upon past
play history), certain restaurant meals are "pre-comped" and won't hit
your room folio.

For example, if you're brought in C4 (where C1 is the highest rating)
buffet, coffee shop, "fast" food outlet, and (possibly - I don't
recall for sure this morning) Margarita Grill charges are pre-comped.
Additional restaurants are added at C3 and C2.

However, if you dine in a restaurant not covered under your comp
rating you'll likely be required to exhaust your earned Connection
comp balance before a host would consider a comp for charges over and
above that.

In your case, had you been brought in on a room only comp (C5) the
charges would have gone to your room.

If you're a first time player without an established play history and
are brought in on a lower level comp rating, a host has the discretion
to rate your play early in your trip and upgrade your comp status.
(No guarantees on that, though.)

As far as the play requirements stated in the original post, the host
involved would appear to have been "out to lunch", unless LVH is
introducing harder comp requirements in advance of the property
turnover. If so, they need to get real. NYNY would be a relative
comp bargain.

what are these C1-c5 comp levels you're talking about?

i was offered 4days/3nights and a $50 food credit to one of their
restaurants (bennhana's?). i was doing $4k/day for 4 days on vp on my
only trip there.

which level do u think i'm in? and if i call them, will they tell me
which level i'm in?

David - Yesterday, I emailed a host at LVH and asked
her the very same thing. Her (rather disappointing)
answer is shown below.

That would be a C5 room-only comp, with a food credit thrown in as
part of the offer. $4K/day is generally the play threshold that I've
seen quoted for a room-only comp.
