Feel your pain about thinking you've come across a insanely great
paytable! I remember years ago at the Riv looking for the 10/7/80's
when I came across a 10/7 game that paid 1200/600/375 for max coin
quads! A mana from heaven for sure! Sat right down and prepared to for
a marathon session! Bubble bursted all over the place however when a
pair of Q's didnt pay off even money! Turns out my dream discovery was
the nightmarish Kings or better Triple Double Bonus Poker! Learned 2
painful lessons that day: stumbling apon Mana's from heaven games are
extremly rare and games like TDB, DDB, that version of DDB that pays
4000 for AceW/kicker, and 10/7 to some extent were created by the
devil! Regretably played the machine anyway that day and lost 600$!
Here's a warning to all newbies from someone whos gone through lots of
agonizing hours on any DB based game: BE PREPARED FOR THE VARIENCE!
Unless the VP gods smile on you and hit those quads early and often,
Your in for a bigger thrill ride than that thing atop the Stratosphere
could ever give you!
