It's funny, my reaction is just the opposite. After spending two weeks in Vegas over the last few months, I'm seriously considering cutting back. After a 6-7 hour flight, paying 300+ for airfare, $200 to park and renting a car, MGM gives no additional comps beyond a marketing offer for 50K a day play. Venetian also does not give you anything over the marketing offer for 50K a day. I'm charged for meals, shows etc..

At Mohegan for the same play, my rooms are comped 7 days (no points) all shows are comped (no points) and it seems there are almost weekly offers for TV's, Gift Cards, Tourney's and other giveaways. Also, I have enough points left over for shopping, gourmet meals and the spa.

  I live 12 miles from Foxwoods, In the last 6 months I have spent 18 days in Reno-Lake Tahoe,11 days in LV and 2 days MS,FW. They got cheap, I got smart.

  Both MGM and Venetian have generous cashback which is above and
beyond any marketing offer.If you did not receive cash back go to
your cards website, you may have a pleasant surprise coming, 50K a
day action should give you about $100 a day cashback. Not quite sure
why your marketing offers are so bad. Again. go to their website,
put in your players card # and check out your offers. I put in half
50K and seem to get better offers. I can't figure out why I am not
comped better at MS. It seems to be in a downtrend as far as comps
go for the last 2 yrs
