We were in line for the buffet at Green Valley a few years ago, me and my mother. I decided to use my points for our lunch. There was a large upright monitor on the counter, facing the line of people, and the cashier asked me to enter my PIN. Of course, my mother is also standing there, watching what I am doing. I didn’t like it one bit. With that one event, my mother found out the PIN I use for several cards and it was also the password for my online email at the time. I had to change all the PINs. As mentioned by Curtis in an earlier post, I don’t care about the strangers knowing the info. Not much harm can come from that. The problem was someone I know finding out my PIN. It was a case of “too much information” to give to my mother.

Subject: [vpFREE] Kiosk Privacy..
So wanted to know if I'm alone in wanted privacy at the Kiosks?
I have to enter a pin and my points and what I'm doing isn't really anyone's
business (at least to me)..So twice in the last week, I've had people get up
over my shoulder and comment about what I was doing! I'm so nonplussed, I don't
even know the right response. I was a bit rude and just asked if I could have
some privacy. So, is it just me or does anyone=2
0else concur? Just wanted to know
if I'm over-sensitive as I'm very new to Vegas...(finally here) and kinda
wondered if this has happened to others or if its just few fluke occurances?
