I saw a promo last night on Spike TV ... a $1 million prize for the
winner at 8 or so games. They mentioned craps, roulette, 2 kinds of
poker, horse betting, black jack, and a couple others, but I didn't
hear them mention video poker! So ............. is VP part of the
competition, and is anyone on this board one of the participants?
The idea is to identify the best gambler in LV. But that seems like a
bogus premise. In the short term anyone can get lucky. But it will be
fun to watch anyway, I'm sure.
I heard a week or two ago about plans for a huge blackjack competition,
with a big buy-in and huge prizes for the finalists. The idea, I
suppose, is to create a World Series of Blackjack. Will we ever get a
World Series of Video Poker? It seems unlikely.
