Killer Promotion at Argosy Riverside near Kansas City, MO

I'm heading down to KC tomorrow through Wednesday for work, and just
happened to look at Argosy Riverside's website and saw they had a
killer promo this month on Thursdays: Play on thursdays and get 3x the
first thurs., 4x the second, 5x the third, 6x the fourth, and a
whopping 7x points the fifth (the multiplier progresses with each
Thursday you play). Check out their casino database page and I'm sure
you can do the math!

They also have a Sunday promo during March with a multiplier of 2-7x
when you swipe your card. I hope someone is taking advantage of this
one; I'll certainly be watching for it next year.

False alarm - the promo is only half as good as I originally thought.
The casino database page lists the cashback incorrectly; instead of
0.25% it should be 0.125% (it says on their webpage that slots are
0.25%, but vp is 0.125%). I guess it depends on how much you'd have to
play on the negative return days to qualify as a day of play, which is
not indicated on the web site.

Yes, both the Argosy and Ameristar in KC have downgraded their points
for video poker players. Harrah's and the Isle of Capri are
unchanged as far as I know.

Also, AA is back at Harrah's KC. But it's called "USA Poker" and is
the 98.5% (4 of a kind = 150) version.

Unlike Harrah's Argos does have a few full pay machines but only at
higher denominations. There are two in the High Limit area -- $1
3-play -- and several more in the VP section. These are also $1
3-play and you have to dig for them. They are located in
multi-denomination, multi-game machines that are full of short pay
games. Also some $5 JoB progressives in the High Limit.
