That is the silliest thing I heard of...assuming person wasn't in some sort
of collusion with the dealer. Obviously person should have immediately gone
to Casino Control Commission if he was kicked off of Big Wheel after winning
a few (? one wonders how many times) or not so few times. I'm just thinking
that maybe you missed something there, because obviously this is totally a
"game of chance."

That's why I was so surprised, because this is a real sucker game. The odds on this thing suck worse than reel slots. But this dude made a couple of hits (Betting $50 on the even-money, if I remember) and the pit boss told him to go play something else.

This isn't all that unusual. Many Pit Bosses are at least as superstitious as their clientele. It's not unusual for them to change the cards, dice, dealer or whatever to foil a "hot" player. Remember, if they were REALLY smart, they probably wouldn't be working in a casino.
