Kickers

Continue doing the math. You toss one kicker. Where's it written that
you won't still get four Aces with a kicker? No one's said holding AAA w/kicker isn't the mathematically best play. It just doesn't make
sense to hold the 2, 3, or 4 when we don't give that game our life-long play. And because it's not a positive game, who plays it all the time anyway?

Correct, which I already stated in the last portion of the formula in my original post:> The simple logic IS to calculate (no computer needed) whether 1/47 X 4,000 is greater than (2/47 x 800 + (1/4 x 1/47 x 4000)).

I am also presuming that the intelligent people on this list would NOT play it except when it IS positive, as it was at the Peppermill in December with a progressive at $12,500. It took me twelve hours of play to hit the progressive, during which time I also hit Aces with a kicker 3 times for a net win of $18,000 on the play.

My apologies.
I stand corrected.

Dennis: I'm not sure where the theoretical 'break-even' point is on the
progressive meter, but are you saying that if the RF was a few dollars below
that point you wouldn't have bothered?

Congratulations on the big win and a great day. That's what luck's all about.
