Key Largo

Follow up from my posting yesterday:

Went back to Key Largo today and found --

9/7 JOB are completely gone (one employee yesterday had thought
mayabe one would remain as a 9/6). The area near the door where the
one (and where other machines such as 10/7 DB had been in the past)
now contains six new linked progressive slot machines (Elvira, Lucy,
Hillbillies).
The other 9/7 JOB that sat beside the one Joker machine was replaced
with one of the old triple bonus machines that had been in the gutted
area.

2 Joker machines remain ... but one has a very blurry screen and also
has reflections from the new slot machines on its screen.

So: No 9/7 JOB ... 2 jokers (one with bad screen) ... no 10/7 DB
(only 9/6 DB or worse) ... the 2 DW are still there, but were changed
to short pay several months ago.

WOW, with changes like that, I bet Key Largo moves all the way down to 4th
or 5th on a well known top 40 list!

Very disappointing. Those 9/7 JOB machines were quite possibly my
favorite quarter machines in all of Las Vegas (and Key Largo had the
only 2 left in town after the Stratosphere killed theirs). They were
every bit as good as FPDW but with lower variance. I wonder how long
until the Jokers are gone, too.
