Some casinos in Vegas give more to you if you have an out-of-town address;
some give more for a local address. Generally some of the ones that give (in
my opinion) better deals for locals: Stations, Coasts, Palms, Venetian.
Better for out-of-town: all Harrah's properties including Caesars, Rio,
Flamingo Hilton, Ballys; MGM & Mirage properties.
LVHilton has some benefits for each, but for room and tournament offers
have an out of town address.
If you have a out-of-town mail address (or friend's) you can use, best way
to handle having both is to apply at each casino with the address of choice,
show your Nevada (or whatever license you have) and say "I own 2 houses -- this
is my main address." If you hit a W2G, give them the same address as you
have in the slot club, or they may change your address without your realizing
it.
This way you can have your cake and eat it too. Your out-of-NV
friend/relative will have to forward you any mail you receive. If there is a question
about your phone number - you are giving them your cell number (unless you also
have 2 phone numbers).
In the old days you needed out-of-town address to get many fun books, but
those are pretty much gone.
You can also just go with NV address and not worry.
