I am not the arbiter of what is acceptable on this list. My understanding
is that it is fine to respond to the content of a posting but not to address
your comments in an 'ad hominem' way to the writer of the posting. "This idea
is silly because" is fine while "you are silly because" is not.. with full
extensions of general politeness.
