Just wondering ...

Hi.

My wife and I do a lot of wandering along the Strip when we are in
Las Vegas. We have passed by the Boardwalk Casino many times,
especially now that the tram between the Bellagio and the Monte Caro
is inoperative, but we seldom go in, and we have never played
there. With our going to LV next week, I have begun to review the
LVFREE databases for the "best" VP. Looking at the VPFREE data base
for Boardwald I saw the following:

Comments
MAR 2004
Not that anyone cares, but I could not find the FPDW at Boardwalk
today.

Can anyone confirm that the FPDW machines are really not there? At
the same time, I would like to ask whether anyone knows if the
Boardwalk DB machines might not be there also?

In any event, we will look next week, just out of curiosity. As an
aside, there does not seem to be any Slot Club information on the
database either, except for the statement that the Boardwalk
is "owned" by the MGM group. Does this mean that the MGM slot card
is usable at Boardwalk?

As I said, if we have the time and are in the Boarwalk area next
week, we will look and report back (that is, if anyone is
interested....LOL).

Why would you want to play there? Its a dump.
   Log on to www.cheapovegas.com for descriptions of all the casino's in town. They say its aweful and the worst buffet in Vegas.

Was there in Aug. and can confirm that the FPDW were there then,
located
in the bank of VP machines across from the gift shop. DB machines
were located in a bank of VP machines across from the coffee shop.

The Slot club is sort of a mystery to me, it accumalates comp dollars
not points. I don't know at what rate they comp you but it acumalates
surprisingly quick. They have their own slot card so the MGM card
will not work, guess The Boardwalk is not fancy enough to be
associated with MGM.

This is just to complete a thread, concerning my asking about FPDW
at the Boardwalk in LV, several weeks ago. Both my wife and I
pretty much covered all the machines at Boardwalk two weeks ago and
neither one of us could not find the FPDW. Either FPDW is no longer
at Boardwalk, is well disguised, or we were looking in the wrong
places.

Any comments by anyone? Does anyone have more well defining
specifics on exactly where the FPDW might be?

I am having a brain block & forgetting how to

get there. It certainly isn't through the "database" link on the

group home

page, that just takes me to a page that says nothing in the

database.
