Thought I would add my voice to the "finally got a royal" crowd. After
a very long dry spell and playing a lot of VP on good pay tables, I was
sure the touch had left me. Then last night, we went over to a local
VP bar called Shucks. We limit our play there as the pay tables are not
great. However, on a $l 9/6 Double Bonus hand, I held the AK of Spades
and it filled in for $4000.
When skill wears thin -- Luck sure helps!
