Couldn't it be just as likely that Bob Dancer is advising the casinos to
bring in more decent (positive) VP to bring in the customers?? That to me is the
logical thing to do. Just because someone knows what machines are the "good
ones", and even knows correct strategy, doesn't mean they will or can play
100% perfectly.
Also, word of mouth is great PR. If people think they are getting a "square
deal" from certain casinos, wouldn't they tell their friends?
I don't know how many times I've seen people come next to where I am and say
something like, "this is the good paytable", or "Joe said this is a good
game" and proceed to play with no skill whatsoever, and then even go on to
blackjack or the slots or something. Positive VP is a good loss leader even if
everyone played well. Most people don't. A little knowledge can be a dangerous
thing, and sometimes quite good for the casinos. Case in point: all the jerks
swarming to the single deck BJ games that pay 6-5, because they heard single
deck is good.
So wouldn't it be in Bob's best interest to give advise to casinos that
would bring in more customers? Why does everyone think he is a traitor?

I do find it appalling that, while giving instructions to VP
students while wearing the white hat, he is advising casinos to
remove positive machines, while wearing the black hat! This is a
correct interpretation, is it not?
