latest. If you have no talent don't attack those that do. Just realize you

Good for you. How does that obviate the fact that I didn't like it?

First of all, I do have talent--I'm a published writer; but even if
I didn't, that wouldn't make my criticism any less valid. One does
not need to actually possess expertise in a given field or
discipline to accurately assess another person's level of skill. I
can tell a bad violinist from a good one, for example, even though I
don't play the violin. But I shouldn't have to explain this to a PhD.

Wrong again. I made my living--and over 1/4 million dollars--playing
casino advantage games, including video poker, during the late 90s.
What I never did is cross the ethical boundaries that BD did. But
that's his choice.
You will note, also, that what I criticized was his BOOK, along with
speculation that the drying up of those sources of income that he
was accustomed to (how many people are going to sign up for
your "Beat Deuces Wild" class when there are no more FPDW machines?)
was what made him write it in the first place. I find that ironic.
