<<< Its interesting reading the posts about the ACW 1$FPDW.
I play strictly 0.25 deuces but if had the bankroll and time
to play $1 FPDW, the last thing i would do is post such a
opportunity here. I know there's fierce debate amoung the
knowledgeable VP community about the pros and cons of
outting such a play. Im just curious (and indeed confused)
why one would let this cat outta the bag when they know full
well that that play will soon be deader than Tookie
Williams!? I realize the secret would get out inevitably,
but what would a knowledgable player gain by being the one
to do it? Im very curious to recieve evrey1's input! TY >>>
I'll regurgitate some thoughts that I've expressed in the past:
IMO, everyone should do what they perceive to be in their
own best interest (subject to ethical/legal considerations).
Individual players benefit and should be primarily concerned
with their personal share of the video poker profits pie,
secondarily with profits for the casinos and lastly with the
results of other players.
If you discover a good play and decide that disclosure will
kill the play, keeping it as secret as possible and trying
to prolong the play for your personal benefit makes
sense. However, you can never know for sure that disclosure
wouldn't have been a better option than secrecy in
preserving or prolonging a play.
OTOH, secrecy isn't in the best interest, or a viable
option, for the vpFREE community as a whole. Prolonging a
play through secrecy doesn't make sense for anyone other
than the few who will take advantage of the play (and in the
case of vpFREE members, have chosen not to share the play
with their community). The vpFREE community should be
interested in having and sharing good games that are known
and available to everyone in an open market environment.
