With the recent posts regarding play and getting comped for that play( SP,M,RR etc.);one of the things I've disliked about alot of LV casinos is the comp system that requires a "settling up" at checkout. It makes one feel like a beggar, and has been verified by recent posts, also seems to favor a player who has lost.
At least in the Atlantic City casinos, one knows his comp account by merely pressing numbers on the machine keypad or swiping a players card at a kiosk. And these comps are based upon coin in. It might be possible to get additional discretionary comps but on the whole the system works on coin in. However, promos and future offers are based upon more than that.
