If Boulder Station's Jumbo Jackpot must hit by $150,000 and it's near
$140,000 now, does anyone believe that an opportunity exists or that it
carries some "ev" to play there?

Sure, there is “some” additional ev to play. The problem is, what method
do they use to choose the winner? Are reel machines given a higher weight
than VP machines? Do higher theoretical hold machines have a higher
probability of hitting? Are higher denomination machines given a better
chance? If every penny put in a machine was given an equal chance, then you
could make some sort of an estimate as to the additional ev. Anyone know
what formula they use???

skeptical of is if the chance of hitting it at each casino is the
same. Maybe Boulder was deliberately programmed to hit at $149,900.

I think most of the winners to date have been playing nickel machines.
The ads state something like, "Any machine, anytime, any day."

But if you are playing positive games anyway, possibly with other
promotions involved, wouldn't it still make sense to play there rather
than somewhere else for the possibility that it might hit?

like every penny put in has a certain chance of winning the bonus.
It seems to me like that chance per penny would go up in some sort of

It hit Saturday night or early Sunday morning for about $141,000
on bank #628 at Boulder. I saw the woman getting her picture taken.
