Flying at Harrah's expense from July 25 thru July 30. We take trips on them
about every three months but could take more. Usually play dollar machines.
Hubby likes the 50 play machines at Harrah's. Some casinos consider us high
rollers (but I think average players?). Get free room, food and cash offers
from most Vegas casinos. Thanks for the help:)

OK, HET junket people. Hamstockman and I used to hang in the H-L Diamond
Lounge once in awhile, but our membership expired April 1st. Those 50-plays are
a blast...which got us DinaD in early 2005.
So there is some sort of deal at the Total Rewards desk for discounted or
free River Taxi tickets. They quit doing the free ground shuttle last July.
River Taxi is a blast and will take you to any casino. Normally it is $4 a head
one-way.
Walking out of the Harrahs compund can be daunting, but you really are only
12 minutes away from the River Palms. You need to get to Casino Drive for a
safe walk. There are stairs (86 steps) north of the parking garage out the
front door. The parking garage elevators will cut out half the elevation.
The River Palms parking garage elevators cut out three flights of stairs too.
Cut through the Rivers Palms and you are on the River Walk. Just don't do
this mid-day! My favorite exploring play used to be walk out of Harrahs first
thing in the morning and then take other transportation back later in the day.
As the crow flys it is only a mile and a half from Harrahs to the Riverside,
equivalent of walking from the MGM Grand monrail station to say the Monte
Carlo.
Since you are well established HET your play in other casinos is just for fun
and not trying to get established anywhere else. You like to sit at bartops?
You like tasty beer or booze? What are your favorite VP flavors? You like
to collect casino trinkets or logo wear? Do you participate in
drawings/promos?
Have fun.
