The July 2005 Casino Players magazine features the “Best of Gaming – 2005”,
as voted for by the readers of Casino Player. Congratulations to us and the
Hard Rock Hollywood for being Number One in 42 different categories for the
Native South Casinos. As for Tampa specifically, we were voted Number One in the
following categories:
Best Overall Hotel
Most Comfortable Hotel
Best Hotel Rooms
Best Hotel Suites
Best In-Room Amenities
Best Room Service
Fastest Check-In
Most Comfortable Slot Floor
Luckiest Casino (my favorite!)
Most Comfortable Bar – Lobby Bar
We were number two or three in 34 other categories, having competition from
other fantastic properties such as Hollywood Hard Rock, Grand Casino Coushatta
in Louisiana and the Silver Star Casino and the Golden Moon Casino in
Mississippi.
As put by Frank Legato with Casino Player magazine – “the Seminoles have
simply cleaned house in most of our major categories with their two remarkable
casinos”.
