Thanks for the kind words. Like most, I've had to learn the money management the hard way...going home broke and with remorse.
It took a while, but I simply learned it's okay to STOP playing and do other things, or even do nothing. Since then, I've enjoyed my trips quite a bit more.
Also, I used to be quarter player, and I soon learned that though I enjoyed the highs, the lows weren't worth it. The swings were too hard on my teacher's salary. I have since moved down to nickels and dimes, and things have been MUCH better for me. I still get just as big of a kick hitting the royal as before, but if I lose, I'm no longer depressed, a little angry, but never depressed.

I highly recommend Jon's LV Trip Reports which were posted
today on vpFREE. His reports have only been posted on the
LVA forums in the past and have been always been eagerly
anticipated.

Hello, just read thru the trip reports, in order, and enjoyed each one.
Wish we could have the bankroll discipline you have Jon. Have you
always had it or did you learn the hard way? Maybe if we were on our
trips longer we would not scurry around and take it slow and easy.
Thanks for the reports. Phylann
