Joker Wild strategy

Does anyone know of any Joker Wild or Double Joker game in which there is ever a dealt hand where it is best to hold just the Joker(s)?

In 9/5 djw, you hold just the joker in a hand such as unsuited w24QK (or similar hand with unmatched remnants and no card 5-J).

Dan,
It is a process of elimination. There can be many hands that can qualify with a Joker.(of course no other paying hands)
Look for: First- #1 any 7, #2 6 0r 8, #3 10,
#4 9 or 5, #6 with out any of the above-Joker alone. With Flush and Straight penalties is can be a bit of mental ************* but you have to stop and think. Not a big deal, it happens maybe once every 2000 hands.

I play a joker game where the Joker Royal pays 400 for 1. When it comes down to holding a midrange card with the Joker the Ten is the first choice followed by the Jack.
