Joker Poker at M.S.

Dear Stevie,
Thanks for the tip. I'll give the 2-pair Joker Poker game at the Sun a try,
although I won't be back down in CT again until May.

That pesky old poker room is the hardest place on earth to find. It's like
the Twilight Zone of video poker. I have played in there 3 or 4 times and yet
each time I go back, I can NEVER find it. Not only that, but when I ask an
employee where it is, they act like they never heard of the place! Last time one
guy told me just to ask an employee for the "M Zone." Then I asked an employee
for the "M Zone" and he looked at me like I was nuts. Probably it was just a
helping hand from the Divine, trying to keep me from going in there since I
ALWAYS lose money on the pick 'em game in there. Maybe the 2-pair Joker game will
be kinder to me.

As for the strategy sheets, yes, I will definitely use my Frugal Video Poker
software to print out a strategy sheet to match the paytable that Russ so
kindly shared with me. Now if only I could just print out a strategy sheet to tell
me how the heck to find that pesky old poker room!
Best wishes,
Cathy

Kathy:

Mohegan Sun is easier to maneuver than you might expect. Just stay on the outside
perimeter, don't go across the middle where the Wolf Den is. Old poker room is in the old
casino (not the new sky). Go in a circle and look on the outsided perimeter not in the middle of the room. I don't play there, but I will check out what this Joker game is at 99% for that just might be one of the best plays there. Does anyone have the paytable?

Natural royal flush 100 Five of a kind 800 Wild royal flush 100
Straight flush 100 Four of a kind 16 Full house 8 Flush 5
Straight 4 Three of a kind 2 Two pair 1

But be careful; it's been almost 2 years since we got a read in the
old poker room, and we do not know over what time period or over any
old paytable changes the 99.1% figure represents.

Old poker room is in the maroon shaded area between the numeral 3
with a circle around it and the male/female bathroom sign on this map:

The Earth casino used to be a nuclear power station, hence the
perfectly circular building; whereever you enter, just keep looking
to the outside while you keep going around in a circle -- like many
atoms have gone before.
