Joker (2 pair) - AC type

in effect, this would make it not an AC type. i have been playing in
atlantic city for 20 years, and i have never seen this game. the royal is always
treated as a straight flush. can anyone point out an exception? in any case,
the common ac type game--and the only one i have ever seen on a progressive,
linked or otherwise--is 4000 for 5oak, 500 for any straight flush, including
a royal.

Hopefully this is my last question about this game. I have never studied
it, much less played it. But I had thought that if 5oak paid $4000 the
royal just paid 100/500. But at

(http://wizardofodds.com/videopoker/tables/jokerwildtwopair.html,) Shackelford
has one paytable that has both the royal and 5oak paying $4000 for five
coins. That paytable is also on the Tunica VP site -
_http://www.tunica-http://www.tuhtt_ (http://www.tunica-vp.com/index.htm) .

Can anyone confirm for me if there is such a game? And if so, is there ever
a
progressive on BOTH the top jackpots. I am assuming on a game where only
the 5oak pays 4000 coins that this is the only payline that has a
progressive.

Tropicana, without the progressive, for quarters.

There have been a couple of isolated cases over the last 3 or 4 years
where a progressive bank has been introduced in AC with 4000 cr on the
5K and a prog meter on the RF. The balance of the paytable pays on
2pr+, but differs from the standard AC-JW2P.

Because the ER has generally been quite strong when these banks have
cropped up (one was a $.25 bank at Borgata that survived for something
like 6 mo), I've assumed that the installed paytable might be an
unintended IGT default and that the IGT guidance to the casino on
return was possibly erroneous.

There are a lot of those games , about at least 50 or so in the
Showboat in AC. The jackpot is for 5oak = $1000.00 . They used to be
near the left of the casino down the ramp near the piano and before
the elevated section on the left. It used to be called Poker Alley
and now they moved them to the front of the casino in the elevated
section off the main aisle across from the rest rooms before Casa De
Napoli restaurant. The Rf only pays like 500. I also believe they are
in the Tropicana too.
