Can confirm that Fremont has removed 3 of the Pickems. 2 left by the entrance to the snack bar. In their place are Game Kings with Pick a Pair but they have the 10000 schedule for the royal.

just spent 10 days at the fremont. Previous posters are correct about the original pick em's. two remain at the end of the bar. the 5 outside of second street grill are the much worse 10000 coin royal payout not to mention the 20 coin on three of a kind. However around tuesday last week they added 4 more of the pick a pair machines(with many other games loaded on them) just outside the live keno lounge. I confirmed and played for several days on these and they are set to the original pickem paytables. 6000 royal on down to 25 for three of a kind. Not sure why they did this or how long the paytables will last but for now that actually puts the number at 6 playable pick ems at the fremont.

This is extremely good news...I was wondering how long those old "large format" machines with the Pick 'Em on there would last and what they'd do once they wore out.

I'll be staying at the Fremont next month (for NAB, using the April "three free nights" mailer)...it will be interesting to finally see a full-pay "Pick-a-Pair" machine- it seemed like every one I'd ever seen had the 10000 credit royal and shorted straights/three of a kinds.
