I read it and I'll save you some reading time:
lots of the usual advice for gamblers in general. not VP in particular:
'rules" like (from memory):
  save half of the money from jackpots (formulatic drivel),
  don't move up in denom to chase losses (wretch),
  stay within your budget (duh),
lots of other platitudes.

The Groch's columns are better when they focus on VP specifically.

Williams had a Blackjack game in their multi-game machines 5 or six
years ago. It had early surrender and came in at l00.4%, so with a
good cash back card we made good money. Mr. Growchowski called
Williams and told them they made a mistake. They said no they
did'nt. So he proved it to them. It killed the play. Thanks Mr.
Growchowski.
