When playing 10/7 DB I know that using the basic 9/6 strategy offers a
fairly good return (99.7 if I remember correctly). But there are a few
simple modifications that can bump that expectation up a bit. Can

IMO, the 3 most basic, easiest to remember, but still important
strategy changes from 9/6JOB to 10/7DB are:
1. Keeping all 3 card flushes (even when they're not part of a
possible straight flush) including AK & AQ + small suited card.
2. Keeping inside straights if there is not at least one high
card to hold.
3. Keeping a 4 flush which includes RF3 (in MOST cases).
I think that the addition of those strategy changes brings you
pretty close to 100% ev, even w/o penalty card consideration.
I DO pay attention to penalty cards, but find it very burdensome
at times. When that occurs, I find a different game to play.

but Deuces for the last 18 months and this weekend I'm forced to
play 9/6 JOB and 10/7 DB in order to get a room in Laughlin. I
