Does the actual play stratagey differ between a 9/6 game versus an
8/5 or 8/5 progressive game? I have been playing 9/6 games in
Laughlin....but here in the Phoenix area, the Indian casinos or have
8/5 games. Help !>>>>>>>
Yes. Don't feel too bad I did not know either when I hit my first royal.
Fortunately it was my first time playing a $5 machine for a $20,000
royal! I was using Stanford Wong's 8/5 progressive strategy on a 9/6
game. Of course using hindsight I may have hit the royal because with an
8/5 progressive strategy you go more aggressively for the royal because
the flush & full house return less and the royal contributes more toward
the total return.
