JoB Stragey

Question from a newbie......don't laugh too hard

Does the actual play stratagey differ between a 9/6 game versus an
8/5 or 8/5 progressive game? I have been playing 9/6 games in
Laughlin....but here in the Phoenix area, the Indian casinos or have
8/5 games. Help !

There was a recent thread about 9/6 vs. 9/6 progressive, try searching
for that thread. As I recall, the strategy changes when the
progressive jackpot gets to about 5000 coins (instead of the standard
4000 coins for max play). At least one of the posts has the math that
shows exactly why, but of course, at some point you begin to sacrifice
small wins to go more aggressively for the RF jackpot.

I am too lazy today to look up the strategy difference between 9/6 and
8/5 (non-progressive), but it's my gut feeling that the strategies
would be the same.

So, the 8/5 progressive would use a different strategy (than standard
9/6) when the jackpot grows high enough.

With a 97.3% base payoff for 8/5, you won't find many members of this
Yahoo group who give that game any thought (unless there's a REALLY
high progressive jackpot). There are slot machines on the LV Strip
with posted percentages higher than 97.3%.
