JOB Question: $1.00 9/6 vs. $0.25 8/5 (Ballys / Paris)

This is my first post to the group, so bear with me. I understand that at
Bally's and Paris the options for JOB are $1.00 9/6 or $0.25 8/5. I normally
play full coin in $0.25 JOB (about 4-6 hours per day per 4 day stay). I have
never hit a royal in 6 trips to Vegas. I am going next month and am
wondering which is the better play - 1 coin in on the $1.00 9/6 machine, or
full coin in ($1.25 per play) on the 8/5 machine. I can't afford to play
more than $1.25 per play, so full coin in on the $1.00 9/6 machine is not an
option. I only have about $100 per day for VP and would like to get 4-6
hours of play from this and would like to earn comps. This question is
mainly for play at Ballys/Paris - I know that at Caesers (where I normally
put in a little time) they have 9/6 for quarters. I have enjoyed fairly good
comps / offers from them in the past - which is the better play in that
regard?

busted=60%
-$100:-$70=2.3%
-$70:-$40=4.6%
-$40:-$10=5.5%
-$10:$20=5.4%
$20:$50=4.8%
$50:$80=3.8%
$80:$110=2.7%
$110:$140=1.7%
$140:$170=0.92%
$170:$200=0.26%
over $200=7.2%

you can also run it for 8/5 jacks, 9/5 jacks would be inbetween 9/6
and 8/5 results
single coin results would be similar, except adjust your bet size,
$100 on 5 coin quarters would be $80 on one coin dollars, and you'd
give up the odds of a big score because you wouldn't hit the full pay

results by 1.25 and then ignore the odds of over $625

i should point out this is 600hands/hour so 4 hours is 2400 hands
if your playing speed is different, just run for the total hands you
will play, for example 300hands/hour for 4 hours is 1200 hands

Sean,

I assume you are staying at Paris or Ballys, and want to play there
to get rooms comps rather than cross ths Bldv. to Caesars which is
has 9/6 and is on the same card. I suggest you talk to a host when
you arrive to determine their comp policy. You may ask if play at
Bally's counts if you are staying at Paris, or visa-versa. If a
comp discretionary room comp (or partial comp) is not feasible for 5
quarters or one dollar play, consider playing at Caesars and using
earned points towards your room.
