Jean Scott's Tax Help for Gamblers Now Available

As I get older, I am not as diligent in keeping track of my "points" as before. Usually I just guesstimate on
multiple point days and take a quick look the next time I'm there to verify.

Two months ago, we all received these booklets to "resident" from the Palms. One 3x coupon good November 18-21 ran into a conflict if used on Sunday, November 18th.
Seems like the Marketing promo people don't check whats out there and they had offered 2x points for video on the same day. This more recently dated promo came after the booklet. When I went to give
my coupon for the 3x, the helpful booth person mentioned that she was "blocked out" with a inserted program for the 2x points.

Helpfully, she gave me my total points before I started the day, my finished points with "their" program insertion promo and tried to put in my claim for 3x points as per the booklet coupon. My next visit in, I can
then see and try to claim whatever is lacking in these dual but conflicting offers.

This is but one example for me and all of us to be most vigilant about all offers, points, comp credits. I once "paid" $32 for a $4 bowl of soup since the
cashier swiped 8 times before the machine "dinged" . At that time I was checking everything closely.
