Does anyone know how much coin-in is needed to generate the 3,000 base points needed?

In the past it has been $30,000 for VP Games and $15,000 on slots. I haven't heard of a change on those numbers.

I got the e-mail from my host in Laughlin, has anyone heard of the offer at other Harrah's locations? I always thought it was a standard deal.

It's not a standard deal to have it good through March 2011. You would normally have to earn the entire 11,000 points for that benefit. Also, at one point it was rumored that the new criteria for DiaD was 4,000 points at some properties. Don't know if that ever became reality or not.

Diamond in a Day:
I believe it is either 3,000 or 4,000 depending upon the
casino. For example, Harrahs Laughlin is 3,000 and Harrahs
Ak Chin is 4,000. I believe the strip casinos are also 4,000.
This means $30,000 or $40,000 dollars cycled through. You
should talk, or call, each casino's Reward Center to verify
their DIAD specific requirements for your casino of interest.

Also, I was told we could have more than 1 card playing at
the same time for completing Diamond in a Day. We had 3
people playing on the same card In Laughlin and the Reward
Center was aware of this. They isssued the extra cards and
honored all play. This, other than risk, made Diamond in a
Day really easy.

Also, be sure to verify the casino's time requirement. Most
of the time it is a calendar's 24 hour period, but make sure
it is not a casino's 24 hour period that can be different
the midnight to midnight time period.

You also need to pick up you new card during the required
24 hour period. I have help 3 friends obtain their DIAD in
Laughlin. They use to have six 9/6 50 play $.05 and $.10
which were nice for DIAD. However, this are 8/5 and they
have recently downgraded all of their 9/6 JoB options.
I blieve the is one machine near the Keno board that has
9/5 at $.25 that they seemed to have missed. I hope this
helps.
