Good 4 Queens Promotion
I just got back fm Vegas where I played mostly @ 4Q. Jean's rite,
the promo's are good and she didn't even mention the beach towel, sun
screen or other $50 freeplay (maybe non locals flyer I got). One
thing...I didn't find 9/6 JOB. I didn't check every machine. I play
almost exclusive progressives, usually 25c DDB here. At the bars,
25c JOB, 8/5, the suited spades RF progressive was about $5600+ when
I started. It hit @ $5700+ and I understand from a bartender the
lady hit another spade about 5 hand later. I guess the spades have
been going for a coupla months.
I also played slot tour. Got 16th on a paying 10 places...stoty of
my life.
Another side lite. I was dealt spade SF 9 to K. I saw the 4 to
royal & dumped the 9 B4 I even realized I had a SF. I hit another
black 9 for a straight, but no royal. I figured my play had to be
the rite one and I was glad it worked out that way cuz I probably wud
have sat there for 15 minutes. Once I got home to my computer, I
certainly found out my play was rite. Found out later that another
fella kept the same SF. I wud have lost sleep wondering if I cud
have caught it dumping the 9, ifen I was him.
BTW, the 8/5 $1 JOB progressives suited, 2 of the suits are about
$8K. I also chased them for awhile.
It took a 50c royal at Fremont for me to get well for the weekend,
but as usual had a goos time.
Oh, I just thought...darn I had my wife's card with me, but no wife.
Shudda used her card to max out the promo's. Only problem then wud
have been collecting w/o her.
