This is tax time and I always try to read whatever I can to get hints, tips, and help.
Reading the first few lines of this week's "Queen of Comps" column has encouraged me to
get on my soap box again. <speech begins....LOL>
I truly hope that NONE of you are getting refunds this year. Getting a refund is giving good
old Uncle Sam an interest free loan. Please remember that any "withholding" is being done
with your money. A "refund" is simply giving back to you what is already yours. I always try
to arrange things so that, at tax time, I "owe" the IRS a suitable balance that does not
generate a penalty. I then wait until the last day to mail in the forms to IRS.
