Simple calculation. Let's say that you play a couple times a month
at XYZ
casino, and that for the last few months your coin in totals a
little over
$12,000 per month. Next month, XYZ sends you a mailer with four
$25 coupons
in it that you can take to the cage and cash on specific dates. If
they
keep sending you the same level mailer each month, calc. 100 /
12000= .0083.
You now know that bouceback for XYZ is worth .83%. If the game
that you are
playing there is 9-6 JOB (99.54% ER), your game value plus BB is
100.37%.
If the BB is in free play instead of hard cash and you play it on
the jacks
game, in the long run your free play is worth the same as the ER of
the
game.

Nice write up. My point was the article was written with a slant
toward the beginning player and should have been more explicit in
that regard.
Plus, there is usually quite a lag between play and reward in bb or
fp making the actual calculation rather difficult. At least for me
in my location it is.
Anyway, do not take as a criticism of your response, but as an
attempt to enlighten those less analytically inclined.
