JANugget: Loser's Only Policy

Sad news to say...
JANugget now has a "Losers Only" Policy.
I recently did not get one of the VIP Event offers, while a friend of mine (who strictly plays craps) did...
I went in to ask about why I didn't get it (as I put $10k coin-in ONE DAY last month) and I was informed "Unfortunately, you only play machines with a positive expectation, AND you have been winning on them." I asked "Well, isn't it my good fortune and intelligence to have won AND play machines that pay back the highest?", there answer "Yes, but we're not going to comp you for that."
SO...no longer will I support them.
On a side note though, I DID hit quad aces on 25c DDB three times this weekend, once with a kicker; as well as quad 4's with a kicker twice.

Thanks for the news. What are their positive games? You said you were playing DDB this weekend.

They're listed in the database.
Personally, if it were me, I'd just eliminate my full-pay games...but I guess they want to ATTRACT players, but then once they find out they don't get mailers, they'll just lose them...

I hadn't looked at their database listing for awhile and didn't realize they had positive games (with the .4% comps.) So I guess you were playing the 10/6 DDB this past weekend. Do you still get .4% comps on that game? It would be tough to decide whether to go for games that will trigger offers or games with a positive EV.

From what I can tell (because I HAVEN'T been playing 100% games; only 99.2%), it won't matter, any decent vP combined with wins, will get no mail.
Also, their comps on less than 100% vP is .335%, while on 100% vP (10/6 DDB, and 10/7 DB) is only .250%, pathetic really.

This seems to be a trend, and I am sure more casinos will use the more sophisticated tracking systems. Unfortunately, casinos are able to see more and more of what we do. The Peppermill has stopped winners as has been discussed here in the past. I had a good run at the Peppermill, and despite my efforts to disguise my true play I found my offers going downhill. I finally got only discounted weekday room offers. After no play for more than 6 months better offers started flowing again. My last two trips were very negative and now I find myself getting suite offers and larger free play. My play has stayed the same over this time period, so I know my level of play has not been criteria for the wide swing in offers.

Good luck at the Nugget. Perhaps a lesson to be learned is not to just play the highest return games, at least at those casinos that we know are really watching. ??

Jean Scott has suggested that vp players occasionally play slots for a bit. In theory, it's supposed to indicate to the casino that you're not solely an advantage vp player and that might keep the good offers coming. I know it pains me to even think about sitting at a slot machine and mindlessly hitting the button, but I can put up with it for an hour or so for a good cause.

I do worse than that...I play video keno...
I actually play video keno WHILE playing vP..I just pick some numbers and set it to "autoplay" whilst I'm playing vP on the machine next to it.
